Services

Professional property care with documented oversight.

First Due Home Safety helps property owners stay ahead of maintenance concerns, safety issues, and costly surprises through professional property care, life-safety awareness, HVAC support, exterior reviews, and documented property history.

Core service categories

Professional property care, not reactive repairs.

Each service category supports the larger care model: maintain critical systems, reduce visible risk, prepare the property, and document what was observed.

01

Reduce Safety Risks

We review key life-safety components throughout the property and document findings so owners have a clear record of visible conditions. When an issue appears outside our scope, we recommend the appropriate licensed professional or service provider.

02

Support Critical Property Systems

Routine HVAC care helps reduce unnecessary wear, support better airflow, and identify concerns before they become expensive repairs. Scheduled visits may include filter replacement, condensate drain line care, airflow observation, and visible condition notes depending on the selected plan.

03

Document Visible Electrical Concerns

Accessible electrical areas are reviewed visually for concerns such as damaged outlets, missing covers, visible wiring issues, overloaded areas, and panel-area observations. We do not perform electrical repairs or licensed electrical inspections; concerns are documented and referred when appropriate.

04

Prepare And Protect The Property Exterior

Recurring exterior reviews help identify visible concerns, storm-readiness issues, drainage problems, and maintenance needs before they worsen. Depending on the plan, this may include exterior openings, gutters, roofline observations, and post-storm documentation.

Add-on services

Additional support when the property needs more.

Add-on services provide tighter oversight, seasonal documentation, and specialized preventive care when a property needs additional attention.

Dryer Vent Cleaning

A focused add-on for one of the most common preventable residential fire risks. Dryer vent cleaning helps remove lint buildup, support better dryer performance, and reduce avoidable fire risk. Included with Complete where applicable and available as an add-on for eligible members.

Vendor Coordination / Referrals

When specialized work is needed, we can help members move faster by identifying next steps and coordinating with qualified professionals through our approved vendor network. Members are always free to choose their own vendor. Learn more.

What this is

Professional property care for every type of owner.

Our service is built around professional property care: reviewing, documenting, and helping owners act sooner. It supports primary residences, rental properties, investment properties, short-term rentals, vacation homes, seasonal residences, and small property portfolios.

When something appears outside the scope of maintenance-focused service, we recommend follow-up with the appropriate licensed professional.

Reference standards

Safety awareness informed by recognized standards.

Our maintenance-focused observations are informed by established fire, life safety, habitability, and property-condition standards where they are relevant to routine home care.

NFPA

The National Fire Protection Association develops widely used codes and standards for fire, electrical, building, and life safety. NFPA guidance helps inform our attention to smoke and CO alarms, egress awareness, dryer fire risk, visible electrical red flags, and prevention-first safety habits.

HUD NSPIRE

HUD's National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate prioritize health, safety, functional defects, and year-round maintenance practices. NSPIRE helps inform how we think about visible conditions inside, outside, and around your home.

These references guide our maintenance and safety awareness process. Our service is not an NFPA inspection, HUD inspection, code enforcement review, engineering evaluation, or licensed home inspection.
Service scope: First Due Home Safety is not a licensed home inspection company and does not advertise its services as a replacement or substitute for a licensed home inspection, specialized inspection, engineering evaluation, or trade-specific service. Our services are maintenance-focused, observational, and documentation-based.
